Small Budget Hosting reserves the right to add, delete or modify any provision of this policy at any time with or without notice. Continued use of our services is considered acceptance of agreement to be bound by any terms changed by Small Budget Hosting.

If you have purchased domains, hosting, software, web design, support services from Small Budget Hosting, the term of this agreement shall continue in full force and effect as long as you take advantage of and use the software or services that we provide.


Small Budget Hosting will not sell, distribute, reveal, or otherwise make available any customer information, except with a warrant from Government Authorities. Any Warrant Served on Small Budget Hosting shall be compiled with, and provide all details about the requested client data by the requesting authorities.

We contribute a great amount of time and help to anti-spam and anti-fraud organizations. Any information Transmitted to said organizations is done using secure sockets layer, and we shall provide only the information required to protect our Company and the Client.

All Reasons for Cancellation must be made in writing via support ticket to our Cancellation Department. You must also state a detailed reason as to why you are cancelling (as we request for any cancellation, no matter the time frame).

We are the sole arbiter as to if your reason is a valid reason and if all possible steps were taken on your side and on ours to correct the situation causing the interest to cancel.


Domain Names and Domain Transfers

Registration of Domains:

All domains Registered with Small Budget Hosting Must Contained Valid Whois Information. As Per ICANN Regulations, all domains registered shall require Whois information to be verified within 15 days by email. These checks can require the registrant to provide valid ID as proof. Failure to Provide Valid information and verify it by email shall result in the domain being disabled.




Updating Whois Information:

 If after January 1st, 2014 you modify your whois information in anyway you will be required to verify your information within 15 days, otherwise the domain shall become disabled.

 Verification of Whois Information:

 As per ICANN Regulations all Domain Registrants are required to verify the validity of their Domain Registration information once per year. 

Domain Transfer Requirements:

Domain must not be expired with the current Registrar.

Domain must not be locked.

Administrative contact email address on the domains WHOIS record is active and checked by domain owner.

Domain is more than 60 days old from date of initial registration.

Must have the correct EPP key (obtained by the current registrar).

All Whois information shall be required to be verified within 15 days of changes made to domain.

Small Budget Hosting shall register new domains on behalf of a client when requested.

Clients shall be responsible for renewal of all domains under their account. 

Small Budget Hosting does not take responsibility for failing to renew domain names.

If you registered your domain with Small Budget Hosting, the client shall be responsible to ensure their domain is renewed when it is about to expire.

We do not handle renewals unless specifically asked for by sending a ticket to our helpdesk.



All new web hosting accounts purchased on our order page are set up after payment is made. You will receive additional emails including login details after your purchase. Due to unforeseen complications with various mail servers and any connection problems between your ISP and Small Budget Hosting, this process may sometimes be delayed. All accounts are checked with multiple fraud detection systems, as well as manual verification to payment details.


We accept Paypal for payments, which also includes Visa, Mastercard, American Express Discover.

Email Money Transfers:  We also accept email money transfers for Canadian Annual, Biannual, and Triennial payments.

All hosting packages will be due on the anniversary of the sign up and creation of your account. Your anniversary of your account will be monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, Annually, Biannually, or Triennially. All ssl, domains, hosting plans, shout cast do not automatically renew and require you to manually pay the invoice.

ALL accounts that have a bill over $50USD will require a Paypal/Payment authorization, as well as photo ID, such as drivers license or State/Provincial ID for Canadian and United States Customers, or a passport for International Customers. Failure to provide requested information will result in cancellation of Account and Refund of money, and information being posted into Fraud Record. 

Late Payments

All payments are subject to a 20% late payment fee. If at any time, your hosting payments become past due, you will receive a notification via email (to the most recently updated email address on file) with instructions on rectifying the situation. Failure to pay in a timely manor will result in your website being suspended. In order to regain access to your files, a full payment must be made. 


If you wish to cancel your services, you must file your request via our support desk to our Cancellation Department, 5 business days prior to your renewal date. If you fail to pay your account within 2 days of your next billing period, your account will be suspended automatically.

Early termination by the client of the Semi-Annual, Annual, Biannual, and Triennial Hosting contracts, In the event that a client who signed up for contracted services (6 months, 1, 2, or 3-year increment) and terminates services before the contracted period has ended, the client will receive a pro-rated refund (Calculated at the monthly rate for your package) for any remaining time on their contract. Pro-rated refunds may include deductions for domain fees and the service charges listed below:


Early Cancellation Fees:

 Cancellations of accounts pre-paid for on a monthly basis will not receive a credit/refund for the remainder of the billing period, therefore we encourage to only submit cancellation when the account will no longer be used. Cancellations of accounts pre-paid on a yearly, biannual, or triennial basis will only receive a pro-rated credit, not a refund, based on the monthly rate of the same hosting plan, where any applicable credits will be issued to the client account and can be used to purchase other services/products by client at anytime. All add-on service payments are non-refundable as they are included only during the life of the hosting plan. If for any other reason your account becomes suspended and remains suspended it will be deleted after a 30-day period.

Cancelled pre-paid accounts that take advantage of any promo rate will be subject to the pre-paid term deduction, and the months used, the remainder shall be refunded.  

 If you cancel your account and your payments still continue for any reasons such as 1) by fault of Small Budget Hosting staff 2) by fault of the credit card processor 3) by fault of any other payment collection company, we are not responsible for any overdraft fees that are issued by your financial institution. 

If your account is cancelled by us with due cause, such as hacking, or uploading scripts to attack our server(s), your account will be cancelled without refund.


Free Domain Offer

Free Domain Offer shall follow previously laid out terms in the TOS. All Domains are renewed Yearly by Small Budget Hosting.  All renewals are handled manually by the billing system and shall require a coupon code by the billing staff for renewal to take place.  If a client cancels a yearly term, the retail cost of the domain shall be taken out of the cost of the refund. 



If, for any reason, Small Budget Hosting fails to deliver said services, a prorated credit can be issued upon request.

No credits will be issued if abuse of our stated policies forces Small Budget Hosting to suspend or terminate your services prematurely. Once your service has been cancelled your account will be suspended from use. It will then be deleted within 30 days.

Small Budget Hosting shall terminate your account for uttering threats of any kind towards the company, staff, or any other person affiliated with Small Budget Hosting.


In the event that a client issues a charge back or reversal of charges without first following the above cancellation policy, the customer will be responsible for a $50.00 billing service fee. If Small Budget Hosting is subject to a charge back or reversal of charges, we will deny access to your files until all outstanding debt is paid in full.


Backups are the responsibility of the client, and client alone. Small Budget Hosting does not make backups for clients without an access fee, which may be determined by Management at anytime.


Automatic Cancellation

Accounts will be suspended for non-payment after 48 hours of the due date. Accounts will be suspended for using the maximum bandwidth allotted. Warnings will be automatically given at 80% usage. Accounts are not upgraded automatically to prevent suspension.



Small Budget Hosting believes in freedom of speech; however, any content (written, visual, or implied) in the following areas will not be tolerated and is grounds for immediate suspension of service (in most cases customer will be allowed a zip file of their account): racism or prejudice due to color, creed, or belief; any violent/malicious/obscene content written, visual or implied. We will not tolerate any type of hate site including terrorist related websites on our network. If we receive notice that there is such a hate site hosted within our network, the customer hosting the material will be notified immediately. They are required to remove the content within a certain timeframe or will face account suspension and/or termination.

We prefer that you self-govern your content and remain responsible and all-knowing of your website publically provides. Even if other users have access to your account, you are responsible for their actions. The resources and time needed to govern our servers by checking each website individually, which have growing and evolving content, is impossible. However, if Small Budget Hosting is made aware of any questionable content on a Small Budget Hosting hosted site, we will address the concerns immediately and directly with you to seek an amiable resolution. If any person contacts us about content they have found on a Small Budget Hosting server that copyrights their own material or that they wish to be removed, we require a proper DMCA notice to begin investigation.

Small Budget Hosting does not accept adult content on it’s servers due to the resource usage that it causes. 


Small Budget Hosting, makes no endorsement, claims, or promises regarding the services offered by our customers and will not be held liable for any disputes or claims against said customers. In no event shall Small Budget Hosting be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special and exemplary damages, or any damages whatsoever, arising from the use or performance of a customer web site or from any information, services or products provided through a customer web site. If there is questionable content on any server in our network, we will not take any action against any material or action until the website is brought to our attention by emailing our abuse department.

Promotional Deals

All Promotional Deals offered by Small Budget Hosting may contain additional terms of service outside the standard terms of service. Clients shall be subject to those terms of service in addition to the standard terms of service. External Terms of Service may change at any time.

Promotions from Small Budget Hosting may be withdrawn with at any time. If a promotion that is in use by current customers is withdrawn, any customer that is affected by withdrawal of the promotion shall be notified 30 days in advance.
